RE: [photoshop-beginners] Lr4



Yes there is.  There are a number of things you can do in Lightroom that you can't do in Photoshop.  Very briefly, you can create virtual copies of files with different adjustments, you can shoot tethered, you can place photos on a map and search the map to find what photos were taken there.  There are many more things that can be done but it's more than I would want to go into in an email. 

 

I have Lightroom 4 and CS6.   While many of the features available in Lightroom are available in Photoshop and Bridge Lightroom does some things better.  I use both a great deal and they complement each other very nicely.
