RE: [photoshop-beginners] Very basic: How do I get a photo into a second layer



Since you have both images in PS, then select the Move tool and drag one image on to the other. Move the cursor over image 1 and press the left button down, keep it down and drag the cursor over to the top of the tab for image 2, wait a few seconds, when image 2 appears move the cursor over the image an release it.

Sorry about this basic question, but after repeated searches and dozens of hours on CreativeLive, I still cannot place a second photo for a new layer, even though they are both exported to PS from LR. I apologize for my lack of insight in this matter.
