Thank you so much...glad to know that. I use those tools all the time.
For now, I am fine with what I have. However, if i have to buy a new computer,
I will need an updated version of photoshop.

What other tools does the program you use have that I wouldn't have on
Photoshop2?

Hi Susan and welcome to the group :)

I recently upgraded from Elements 6 to Elements 11 and I can tell you that both versions have the artistic filters you are speaking of.  

I have been using Elements since 2008 and greatly enjoy the program! I also have CS6 and Lightroom, but they are new and don't have experience with them as yet.
