Re: [photoshop-beginners] troubles saving a file

Not enough ram or not enough scratch disk could cause problems. I just made
a jpg using your info and it save very quickly. 4 gigs of ram and a
dedicated hard drive for the scratch disk. PS CS6, windows 8

Subject: [photoshop-beginners] troubles saving a file

Hello: I am trying to save a fairly large file as a .jpg. I keep getting
the following message..."could not save a copy (file name) because of a
program error." I'm using PS 7 and have saved very large files in the past
with no issues. I can save smaller files. The photo is a 22 x 36 with a
resolution of 300 p/i. Hope someone can give me some advice. It will save
as a TIFF but most printers need a JPG. Also, what are some of the on-line
photo printers/labs y'all use? Thanks for any and all assistance! Gary
