Re: [photoshop-beginners] colors

CMYK printers are, for the most part, the domain of professional
print shops. You specified output to an Epson desktop printer, and
desktop printers generally accept RGB data. When you print PS work
that was done using CMYK, your output is first converted from CMYK
to RGB, so your printer can accept the data, then converted in the
printer from RGB to CMYK to match the ink set used by your printer.

The "Out of gamut" warning lets you know your printer can't
reproduce a color shown on screen, and the nearest match will be
substituted for printing.
