on your tool palette should be a little black square and a white one....actually two pairs in the same spot...a larger pair and a tiny pair. Just double click on that and the picker will pop up

Subject: [photoshop-beginners] how to access the color picker

I hope someone can help me out. I'm using photoshop cs5 am a beginner and don't know how to access the color picker. When I use the eyedropper tool and click on the color my color picker does not come up.
