when a harddrive fails you then buy a new harddrive and copy the files from your backup drive to your new one and your in business.  There is nothing out there that will not fail.  CD, DVD, Memory Card or Hard Drive.

Why use an External Hard Drive as they have timescale and then when
they no longer work you loose all your Photos or what ever you have on them. Thankyou BigJohn UK
