I'm not sure if anyone can help but if anyone has any opinions or comments
I'm open to hear any of it.

I just installed CS3 Design Premium on my new Lenovo S10-3 Netbook.

During the installation Adobe prevents Illustrator and InDesign from
installing because the netbook's screen resolution doesn't meet the minimum
requirements of 1024x768. My netbook has a screen resolution of 1024x600,
and at the moment the most current drivers does not allow a screen
virtualization where you can scroll up or down to see what does not fit on
the screen. So basically the 1024x600 is a hard setting. Everything else
 installs correctly.

I launched Photoshop and it stars just fine. I changed a few panel layouts
so all the tool buttons would show on the screen. When I loaded a Nikon RAW
file ACR pops up with a dialog warning me that ACR requires a 1024x768
resolution and that I don't have that but do I want to continue. I can say
yes and ACR loads but I can't get to the buttons on the bottom of the screen
 to open, save, or cancel.

Is anyone else trying to run PS CS3 on a netbook and what are your
 experiences?

If anyone is interested in knowing, I've setup a netbook for a combination
of tethered shooting and control for my Nikon's, travel storage and viewing
when I'm on trips or short outings, and light connectivity and computing
 when I'm on trips too.

Netbooks are relatively inexpensive now, they are small, light, but have
enough computing power to not feel too stripped down. I can expand more on
what I've done if anyone is interested but I don't want to distract from the
 main message.
