[Adobe_Photoshop_Techniques] Re: skin colour change

I know one way, but it is complex. First match the tones of both models the best you can, using levels or whatever you prefer. Then, using the eye dropper, choose a medium skin tone from the model, whose color you plan to change. I will call this the head. Sample a color from the head.

Then double click on that color in the tools. Then hit print screen on your keyboard, and then close that box, and then open a new file and copy and paste. Now crop down so that you can only see the RGB numbers. Then sample a medium color on the body. Double click the color. Print screen on keyboard, then past it into a new file as you did before. Crop as you did before, so that you can see the RGB numbers.

Now, with the layer that contains the head, use the curves. You are going to change the input and output numbers for each color, rec, green, blue.

For red. First make a point on the line by clicking on it. Then in the input, type the number of the R that is located in the copy you made for the HEAD color. And for output, type in the number for R in the file that you made for the BODY color.

Do the same thing for G and B, and then the colors should match well.

You might loose some of the highlights. If so, just be sure you have an extra copy, on a seperate layer of the head. Then you can erase parts one layer, to reveal the highlights underneath.

It sounds like a lot of work, but I can do it quickly. I think I am going to make a video of this process.
