Re: [photoshop-beginners] Sharpening in Lab

I found the tutorial and yes Deke is very hard to follow. I usually have PS
open on one monitor and the tutorial on the other and when necessary, I
pause the video so that Deke doesn't get too far ahead. As he says in one
of the vids, you had better better be very well versed in all of PS before
you tackle the LAB color mode. He actually was not sharpening using levels
and curves but was using the smart sharpen I sent to you which was close to
the Justin Seeley method. The curves and levels were being used to modify
the colors in the picture. He comes up with all these numbers very quickly
and then says "How did I arrive at these? Trial and error" So what he is
showing is the results of lots of manipulation of the curves and levels. As
far as a printed walk through, just keep watching the vids over and over.
