[photoshop-beginners] Re: Sharpening in Lab

Thanks for getting back to me, Joe T.

To clarify, in Lynda.com I'm looking at CS3/Mastering Lab Color/What Lab Color Can Do/Sharpening the Lightness Channel.

Where I get confused is when Deke suggests using "Blending Option." I don't see how he makes the blending icon appear. I can't find a way to get into blending. Clicking on the "options symbol" doesn't get me anywhere. Nothing happens!

By the way Deke does suggest using curves for better sharpening. At the end of this lesson he recommends a "switch from levels to curves."

Thanks again from Norm
