[photoshop-beginners] where to get & what to get

My computer died ... My wife is teacher & wants to start using PhotoShop for and with her student activity ...
Can someone send link for best place for a teacher to get PhotoShop just want to get her this for her birthday, and since she is educator get any discount available to her
