Well, in general, actions and various presets and such are independent of the platform and are specific to the application, and that's 99% of the time, however, just to be complete, it is possible to write an action that specifically uses hardware functions that are only on one platform, but it is almost unthinkable that someone would putt such an action in a package without announcing it is platform specific. It is also possible the transferring of that action will have a different appearance on a different platform. Make sure you use the same procedures for calibrating your monitor and it should work out ok.
