[photoshop-beginners] Re-CS6 Bridge

Hi, I was able to change the size of the thumbnails but still have Files of photos not just photos like in Adobe Elements.Any ideas how to have only photos instead of files,each file has pictures that were taken on a certain date.some are not even dated so have to open each file until I find the Photo I want.i hope someone has the answer
