[photoshop-beginners] ERaser tool issue CS6

Hey everyone! Need some advice.

I like to insert vignettes into my images using Filters>Lenscorrection. In Cs4 I would go full power and use my eraser tool to remove the vignette manually and variable oppacity settings wherever I didn't want the effect to be in the image.

I just upgraded to Cs6 and when using the eraser to as above, it realigns the image within the stroke which is something I dont want. Didn't have this issue with CS4 so just wondering if anyone may have some insight as to how I can fix this.
