RE: [photoshop-beginners] Re: Create a grey card in Photoshop



So do you sacrifice the rest of the image just to correct a shadow or highlight or do you separate that color range out separately to correct it?

Mid-tones is the key phrase here...Many images have a shadow cast...
Remember that this might not fix a shadow or highlight cast since you are averaging the image.
