RE: [photoshop-beginners] question about the latest photoshop

I don’t know if these are in Elements since I haven’t used Elements since about 2010 but in Photoshop CS6 the filters you mention are under Filter>Filter Gallery.

Subject: [photoshop-beginners] question about the latest photoshop

I am currently using photoshop 2 to make designs.

I know that this is a very very old edition. So I went

to the apple store to see what the latest photoshop has.

I was told that there are two: one for professionals and

one called Photoshop elements(which is much cheapter). I

happened to look at the more expensive one for professionals.

I wanted to see what it had that photoshop2 did not. Specifically,

I went to "filter".  I found that certain tools that I have were

missing...such as "artistic." (which has, for example, paint daubs,
palette knife, plastic wrap, poster edges...etc.)  I wondered whether

it is found under another name.  Is that included in Photoshop elements?

Thanks.

Susan
