[photoshop-beginners] Re: Create a grey card in Photoshop

I correct for S/H/N in RGB color space using curves.  Because the tonal differences are great enough you can adjust each tonal area separately without effecting the others.  for instance a highlight value of 235 and a shadow value of 5 are so far apart on the curve you can make both happen without changing the midtones.
