Re: [photoshop-beginners] Transparent

It sounds like your starting layer is locked. Make the layer with the white BG active...douple click on it in the layers boxes...whatever it is called. With that U have 'unlocked' it & made it possible to delete the white bg. Select the white with the wand then delete it. I use 10% so that it won't delete any lighter colors. Save as a png or a gif.
If this isn't the answer U need I am sure someone can answer it.

Subject: [photoshop-beginners] Transparent

Is there a simple way to make the background color of a graphic transparent in ps5?

IE: Background = solid white
Foreground = (colored text) CAT
Problem = make the white transparent.
