Photoshop for All: [Adobe_Photoshop

My Image Size keeps changing to 240 ppi when I close and then open an image.
It doesn't matter if I saved it initially at 72 or 300 ppi. When I open it
later the Image Size is 240 ppi. The total number of pixels doesn't change
though. Why does this happen and what can I do?
