RE: [photoshop-beginners] Bridal Pic

Looking closely at this picture, I do not think there is any real problem.
First, I doubt the carpet is a factor in the tint as it is the wrong color.
Secondly, look at the light, bouncing off those walls, the pews, I think
that is where the tint comes from. Also, look closely and the tint is
present over most of the dress in varying levels. You could get rid of the
tint, but its presence is "natural".

Having just tried it, the best solution is to select the dress. Save the
selection to avoid having to it over again. If you have CS4, CS5, with the
selection active, click on the "Hue/Saturation" adjustment layer. It will be
created with a mask from the selection. You just drop the saturation till
it is all white.

If you have CS3 or lower, make sure the selection is active, go to "Image",
"Adjustments", "Hue/Saturation". Again, move the Saturation slider down to
zero, and you will get an all-white dress without messing up the detail.

I took a bridal picture, at the bottom of the image, it looks brown when i
blow it up. I am have difficulty in CS3, when I adjust the levels, it
starts to look pixelated. Can someone please help or direct me how to fix
this? the photo is waiting for approval - it is "Logan" in the photos.

Thank you in advance - Delia
