RE: [photoshop-beginners] OK Boys and girls /smart objects



I rarely think upgrading is a mistake.  While I have only been a Photoshop user since CS4 I quickly upgraded to CS5 and now can't wait to see what CS6 has in store for us.

I don't think you made a mistake.....you can stay with cs2 for a long time and I think that a lot of newer cool add-ons won't work with the older version you had. Maybe this is a sign that you should look further into learning more about and using smart objects.

I went from ps7 to cs2 because cs2 has smart objects.  didn't have a clue what that meant but it sounded good.  still don't have a clue.

  should have stayed with ps7 and used the money towards another new lens.  :0)
