Since I teach the curvemeister class I will obviously have a tainted view of this but....I have found that what you get out of on-line classes is directly related to what you put into them. I have taken some training from Kebly Training as well as a few others. They have a very wide range of levels and documentation.
I would suggest strongly a class that has a forum board attached and provides a way to connect with the other students as well as the instructor. Most of my classes learn by comparing what they are doing to what others are doing at the same time. They answer questions for each other and learn together...It is always much better than being alone in a empty internet room.
Also look for classes where the content is downloadable and hands on...Watching a video and taking notes does not make you good at Photoshop techniques. You need to practice and apply what you have seen and questioned...You also need to work on more images than just those in the class. Beging applying what you have learned to your images as soon as possible...It does take a leap of faith sometimes, but you will not get more informed than what you do when you make mistakes and get answers to your specific questions.
