Geez Joe, I didn't think of that. I've had photos that for some reason get in a different mode. Sometimes even "index mode". That is probably her problem. Good advice.

check under image/mode and see if it is 8 bit, rgb.  Change if necessary

I have a file saved as a tiff but want to attach it to an email as a jpeg. PS is not giving me the option to resave it as a jpeg....what to do?
