Jeff I've just spoken to my brother about this, he said this has been a
known problem for 4 - 5 years. Apple say the problem is with Epson and Epson
say the problem is with Apple. The only suggestion he has is to run the
uninstaller from www.epson.com/support and remove the Epson Scan utility.
Then download and install the updated Image Capture version 5.3.0 this
sorted the problem for him, if that doesn't work for you try contacting
Epson support and see if they have a fix for this problem.
