[photoshop-beginners] Snowman -

Hi,

I moved on but the next problem came in step 23. It says as given below.

"For the nose we'll have to create our first own custom shape with the help of the Pen Tool (P). Draw a shape as shown in the image below. Create a new layer and go to the Paths Palette. Right-click on the path you just created and select Fill Path. Once you filled the path you can delete it by hitting the Delete-key.

1. The nose shape (and a corresponding shape layer) is created.
2. Created another layer called Nose. when I go to it's paths palette, it is empty - naturally.

So I went to the shape layer's path palette. While right clicking on the path, I got a fill option. Filled the nose with white color.

3. I came to Nose layer (with the selection active). Hit Delete key, but nose is not getting deleted.

Am I in the right track? Kindly help.
