Re: [photoshop-beginners] How to keep correct size when you resize a image

What size is the original photo?  If it is anything but a square it will be distorted when you convert it to a square.

I don't think this list allows attachments.  Put them on Flickr.com or in this group's photo section and post the link.

Subject: [photoshop-beginners] How to keep correct size when you resize a image

Hi All

I use my own photos to make these crystal glass pendents which are
7/8. I convet the new canvas to 0.8750 for both the width & hight then I
take my original photo go to image sige and convert this to this size
and the drag it to new canvas. And I then undo the original so I can
keep it. I have Photoshop CS2 I think the images look nice but a few
people have told me they look distorted. I want to send the group 2
photos one of the Original and one of the resizing. But I can't seam to
copy & paste any thing into this email... I know there is software I can
buy from the company to have the photo fit correctly but if there is
away to do it in Photoshop I rather do that.

Should I post the photos in photos or attachments

Hope you can help Me

Thanks

Michele
