Re: [photoshop-beginners] adobe download problem

I know this group is for Photoshop, but since there was no answer to my question on Adobe website, I thought someone here (or moderator) could help me with my problem: When I wanted to run a CD program it required SHOCKWAVE. So I have downloaded Shockwave from http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ then when it asks Do you want to run this file? Shockwave_Installer_Slim.exe I have said RUN  In the middle of running the program, it stops and a massage box opens "FREE NORTON SECURITY SCAN...." after closing that dialog box the ADOBE SHOCKWAVE PLAYER dialog box says SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED, but then there is no Shockwave icon, not among my programs, not anywhere in computer. There are lots of Shockwave files but non of them is the one that I can Click and open it.  Still when I want to run anything that requires Shockwave I get the massage that the program is not in my computer and I should install it. I tried it in both my laptop as well as desktop computers, one works with Vesta, the other one is XP, no result either way PLEASE HELP!
