That is a common tactic. Another one would be to use the correct name, but with a wrong domain, such as “.org” or a country domain as “.cn”. It will look right, but because of the wrong domain you will go somewhere else.

Hi, I just sent an email about getting a trojan on what I thought was the infanview site..

now that i googled and with mild dyslexia.. i see that i put in infraview..

so maybe they expect people to make the same mistake i made and this is how they are transferring trojans..

 

the mis-spelling from infan to infra...

 

sorry about that... i'm going to do a bit more research ..

and see what i find out..
