RE: [photoshopgroup] Your advice please

The questions I would ask myself are:

Have you looked at the new features? Are they things you would use regularly? What is your overall budget in comparison to all the things you want to buy?

I find in my life as a web developer who also does graphic design and photo retouching cs4 is just fine. But I also don’t have the budget for a new machine, which I would need to really take advantage of cs5, and I haven’t looked at the new features yet. If it’s in your budget it might be a good opportunity!

Subject: [photoshopgroup] Your advice please

Hi everyone,

I'm at a point where I'm upgrading my computer; however, I don't know that I can justify the cost of purchasing the Adobe CS5 Master Collection. I can get it at an academic cost of $600; I just don't know that I would use it enough to take the jump.

I use Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop some. Is it worth the cost to get the CS5 version? For those of you who use CS5 - is it worth the cost?

Thanks
Gil
