you have plenty of ram already set. Ram isn't your trouble.

I have just notcied when I look at the preference setting for "Memory and Image Cache" in CS2, it says that available memory is 2.786 GB, I have 7 GB RAM on my PC. Any ideas how to change the memory setting to take advantage of all the available RAM

You've got enough Ram and stuff, but 7 and CS/CS2 don't play well together. I had to upgrade at work because of it...

Problem solved. I uninstalled Opanda then reinstalled it. It's working fine. Also, sorry for the double post.
