I'm using PSE 7 and there are a lot of tutorials out there that will help. Most of the stuff for the PSE cs series will also work on elements. What version are you using? I learned quite a bit watching You Tube videos. Just search 'Photoshop tutorials'. Some are just set to music and while fun to watch, don't tell you how to do it.
