I haven't got back to my computer to test yet. I'll post later tonight. Thanks for all that responded. When I applied the security in Acrobat everything worked fine in Acrobat - no need for a password to open file, and printing was blocked. If you opened the file in Photoshop I would be asked for a password (even though I didn't modify the security to ask for a pw to open file) if you entered the password the file would open and printing was also available.
