First what is the resolutions you are printing you work --I usually print my Images using 200-300 resolutions-
What kind of Printer are you printing with --some printers will print better if you use their product --paper etc--I know mine does -
When I print I go to the best preset on your printer --Make sure you have set your Printer for Photos and use the best printing setting you have
I know for a fact that some printers just do not print proportions well at all.
When you send a photo through e-mail make sure you resize it and jpg if you don't it will be to large--I usually size mine to 600x 400 , 600 being the longer side and 400 being the shortest .
Save the photos both in size untouched and resized for mail -the untouched size with a good resolution will print good.
Also use the best paper you can afford --My printer is a HP photo combination and I use HP paper --
Picasa3 has a good program for printing and the photos most of the time comes out right -it is a free program and very easy to use
Just type in Picasa 3 and you should be able to find it on the internet-
I use it for printing a lot and saving my Photos-
I hope I have helped a little and answer your questions a little--Barb

> Hey all, I'm a noobe with photoshop and I'm running into trouble when I try to print photos. When I print them, they always print out of proportion, there always elongated. This also happens when I email them to someone else. I crop them down to standard sizes and they look excellent in photoshop on my computer. I can also save them as a jpg and they come out perfectly proportioned and look great on my computer, but not in print or email. What in Gods name am I doing wrong!!! Any help would be appreciated cause I'm lost.
